VCI Master Batch

SicherGuard mater batch is a nitrite free anti-corrosion master-batch designed for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It is safe and does not require any changes in the manufacturing process.

SicherGuard masterbatch additive has a broad spectrum of formulation applications and is currently being used for the production on of Shrink film, Stretch Film, Injection Molded Parts, Plastic Containers, Foam and Bubble foam Wrap.

With the introduction of SicherGuard master batch can be produced at a very competitive price. SicherGuard master batch is a specialty value added additive that provides superior corrosion protection.

SicherGuard master batch is blended with polyethylene resin (LDPE/LLDPE) with a concentration of 2-3% by weight depending on the thickness of the film or application and requested shelf life. The duration for protection is 2 years when extruded with ideal processing guideline. An evaluation and field test are recommended to confirm that the anti-corrosion effect is fulfilling the demands.

Sicher-Guard VCI FILM is produced by introducing Sicher VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) additive into the still melted material during co extrusion of the three layer film. The additive is later released from plastic to protect from corrosion metal parts covered or contained by the wrapper. The inner layer of the film acts as immediate protection, the middle one provides long - term protection and the outer layer acts as a barrier and contains the protective action, which must develop and remain inside the packing.
